In January 2016, both the Urbana and Danville campuses of Concept College of Cosmetology merged with Tricoci University of Beauty Culture to continue building on its longstanding legacy. The Urbana beauty school is located on US 150/45 at 202 E. University Avenue (Suites H-I) in Urbana, IL in between N. Broadway Avenue and N. Cunningham Avenue. The campus also has additional classroom space at 110 E. University Avenue (Suites G-H). The Urbana beauty school currently offers our renowned programs in cosmetology, esthetics and esthetics teacher training.
Concept College of Cosmetology graduated hundreds of successful students that have gone on to have prosperous careers in the beauty industry in positions such as stylists, platform artists, educators, salon managers, salon owners, and more. Tricoci University of Beauty Culture is poised to offer the same kind of success to its students.
This newer facility located in the Gateway Shoppes includes a large clinic/ salon area, theory room, dispensary, lounges, manicure and pedicure stations, and classrooms.

This 3 day per week schedule allows our students to continue to “earn while they learn” to be a teacher. Learn to become an Esthetics Teacher.**
At the University of Illinois, hair trends over the years have mirrored what was fashionable in other parts of the country10分11选5. There was the bobbed hair of the 1920s, curled hair of the 1950s, and feathered hair of the 1970s.
Today’s fashion and style trends are highlighted in At 10分11选5 in Central Illinois magazine. Local boutique owners and trendsetters frequently provide commentary about what’s hot and what’s not. Especially noteworthy are insights into the local trends in the Urbana-Champaign area. For example, some east coast trends may make national headlines, but they don’t make a dent locally.
The annual Re-Fashioned Fashion Show at the University of Illinois is a cutting-edge style showcase where students create looks that are made entirely from reclaimed, reused, or recycled materials.
The Glam Squad at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is a group of beauty business owners, Instagram influencers, and YouTube makeup artists. They regularly host events such as a beauty expo and an info session on acrylic nail application. The 31 student-members also provide hair, lash, nail, and fashion styling for on-campus performances and photoshoots.
